How to Measure your Space?

  • 1. Measure Your Room

Use a measuring tape to note the length and width of the area you want your rug to define. For accuracy, measure wall-to-wall as well as the intended rug zone

  • 2. Map Out Furniture Placement

Decide what furniture will sit on the rug.

  • 3. Account for Walkways and Doors

Maintain clear pathways and ensure doors can open and close freely.

  • 4. When in doubt, size up

A slightly larger rug nearly always looks more intentional, cohesive and polished within the room.

  • Living Rooms

At minimum, the front legs of sofas and chairs should rest on the rug for a grounded, balanced look.

  • Dining Rooms

All dining chairs should remain fully on the rug, even when pulled out.

  • Bedrooms

Ideally, place the rug under the bed with generous room on each side for comfort.
